Loan service
 

Most of the books in the library are allowed to be borrowed subject to certain limitations. Excluded are periodicals, theses, reports, works of a repertory and reference nature, rare or valuable volumes.
Under no circumstances will books be loaned to users with open balances in other university libraries.
 

How to access the service
 

The loan service is open to all library users. The duration and method of borrowing vary according to the type of user. External users are required to pay a deposit of €26.00, which is returned at the end of the loan.
 

• SAA and Turin University students - two volumes for three weeks - smart card request
• SAA lecturers and Turin University - two volumes for one month
• Externs (lecturers and students from other universities, former SAA students, scholars) - two volumes for three weeks.
   

If the volume has not been requested by other users, the loan can be renewed, by telephone or by coming directly to the library, for a further seven days.
